Today Friday 8th December we had a year eight assembly and a exhibition to showcase our LCS slides plus what we created. It got really hot when it was morning tea so I went to buy a sausage, ice block and a water.
We had to design, create a villain for our super hero and we had to use the same instructions from the kick start. I made a villain who wants to hunt and fight the hero got defeated again.
Today we had to make a super hero for our summer learning journey and write words that describes our super hero. My super hero is the goddess of strength he lives in Samoa.
For this task we had to detect the basics of a quality blog post, Also we had to screen shot one of our blog post and check if it has all of the components.
For this cybersmart task its all around reviewing our learning about the cybersmart details and vocab. In this slides their was a word search. The words were like smart media, smart money, being cybersmart and etc the word search was a fun activity to do. On the other side we had to match the description of the words on the side.
Today for maths team tui were learning about financial literacy and we had a task to do. Granny gave us 1000$ because we were under sixteen but if we were sixteen and over they got 2000 dollars. I brought three bunnies and a big boba plusie.
Tuesday 21st of November a group of us had an opportunity to go on a trip to Rainbows end. As we arrived to Rainbows end we had go into three lines so the workers can inspect inside our bags and getting our bands, after we got our bands we headed inside to also wait until 10:00 am their were other schools their as well. Our first ride was the stratos fear the ride was very scary when it was upside down, Our second ride was the gold rush it was one of my favourite rides to go on so that’s why we went on it a lot of times through out the day, The third ride was the Log flume it was my favourite so far Angellynah and I went on it like a thousand of times. The last ride we went on is the Invader, After all of these rides we went to take photos and head to school.
This morning for maths we had three choices to pick like timetables, fractions, adding and subtracting so I did my times tables so I can memorise and learn it all.
For this writing task we are learning about speeches in the slide. Their are famous speeches like Nelson Mandela we had to answer some questions like what aims did the different speakers have. We also had to read two of the famous people speeches.
We did a video for our cybersmart task we had to make a advert poster but we decided to make a video, In this video we made a advertisement with our microwave 3000 our microwave can cook a chicken in 10 seconds!
